Press Instructions

Cut your prints

First, cut off the color strip that runs along the sheet. Then carefully cut the sheet into individual prints with scissors. Try to leave a margin of film around the print and avoid cutting too close to the image to prevent damage and to make it easier to remove the film later.

Position Your Design

Place your transfer in the desired location and ensure you are not pressing over large wrinkles. Using heat-resistant tape is recommended when pressing on hats or using a household iron to prevent the transfer from moving. With experience, you'll learn when this is needed.

Press

Press the transfer at 315°F / 150°C with high pressure for approximately 10-15 seconds. It is always recommended to test one piece first. Use parchment paper or a protective guard sheet to prevent your garment from directly touching the iron. Sometimes, for certain materials, it is necessary to adjust the temperature or pressure. With a bit of practice, you’ll find the right settings for each garment and material.

Instant Peel

After pressing, your transfer can be peeled instantly without cooling. Peel rapidly to ensure every piece of your design adheres as you peel. This helps ensure that every part of your design is sticking to your item. If parts of the design are not adhering, lay it back down and press again with added pressure and heat (+15°F). If still unsuccessful, continue increasing the heat by 15°F increments until it works. Repeated pressing won't damage the transfer.

Cold Peel

After pressing, allow 60 - 90 seconds for your transfer to cool. Peel rapidly or slowly to ensure every piece of your design adheres as you peel. This helps ensure that every part of your design is sticking to your item. If parts of the design are not adhering, lay it back down and press again with added pressure and heat (+15°F). If still unsuccessful, continue increasing the heat by 15°F increments until it works. Repeated pressing won't damage the transfer.

Second press

Important: After transferring the design onto the garment and peeling off the film, cover the design with parchment paper or a single layer of t-shirt material and press for approximately 15 seconds. This step enhances your product's value by significantly improving its durability and softness while reducing the shine.
